Privacy Policy
Your information. Its purpose. Your choices.
Who is responsible for your information
Vertex Finance is the platform brand for this local preview. The legal operator, company registration, registered office and official contact details have not yet been configured. These details must be completed before the service is published.
Information the platform handles
- Account details: name, optional middle name, email, telephone number, profile information and authentication records.
- Verification details: identity and address information, document details, captured document images, a selfie, proof of address and review outcomes.
- Account and payment activity includes positions, orders, balances, funding entries, payment references and statuses, withdrawal amounts and destination details, permitted notes, uploaded files and related account events.
- Technical information: sign-in/session information, IP and security logs, online-presence signals and browser preferences used by account features.
- Communications include support requests, calls and call outcomes, account and recovery messages, welcome emails and permitted marketing invitations.
Information may come directly from you, from your use of the service or from authorised staff entering or importing contact records. Where a contact originates elsewhere, its source and the applicable privacy information must be provided to that person.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Account access and requested features
- Account administration, authentication, account records and service messages: performance of a contract, where processing is necessary for the requested service.
- Security, support and abuse prevention
- Investigating access problems and protecting accounts: legitimate interests, subject to a documented assessment of necessity and the impact on individuals.
- Identity review
- Checking submitted documents and reducing impersonation. Identity verification is not a statement that any particular anti-money-laundering obligation applies.
- Legal requirements
- Legal obligation only where a specific applicable requirement has been identified; not as a blanket justification for keeping data.
- Optional marketing or tracking
- Invitation emails and delivery, bounce, open or unsubscribe events may be processed to manage permitted marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing invitations using the link in those emails. This does not stop essential account, security or service messages. Account registration alone is not marketing consent; applicable consent and electronic-marketing rules still apply.
Camera capture and verification
The current verification interface requests camera access to capture still photographs of a document and a selfie. You review a capture before submitting it. Proof of address is uploaded separately. A camera permission prompt permits camera access; it does not replace an explanation of why the photographs are processed.
The current workflow uses staff review rather than automated face-matching or automated identity decisions. If biometric identification or other materially different processing is introduced, the notice and applicable legal conditions must be reviewed before it begins.
Access and service providers
Authorized personnel access information according to their role and assigned work. We use Supabase for authentication, account data and private file storage, Vercel for hosting, and Resend for account and invitation emails. Marpay provides hosted card checkout and NOWPayments provides cryptocurrency checkout. Payment providers receive the information needed for their checkout and transaction processing and apply their own privacy notices.
When staff use AI-assisted CRM features, Anthropic processes the permitted conversation and CRM context supplied for that request. These features are designed to exclude identity-verification documents and financial records. Staff remain responsible for reviewing suggestions and approving any permitted action. Market-data and calling services may also receive technical or contact information needed to provide their functions.
International processing
UK-based operation does not mean all information stays in the UK. The configured Supabase project is in Ireland, and hosting, email and support services may involve other locations.
How long information is kept
Retention must be tied to the purpose of the information rather than unlimited storage. Relevant considerations include whether an account is active, whether a verification review or support case is open, a documented legal requirement, an unresolved dispute, and the provider’s backup-deletion cycle.
Browser storage and preferences
The application uses browser storage for authentication sessions and preferences such as a watchlist and balance visibility. Temporary storage supports account setup and recovery. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or reset preferences.
Any non-essential technology that requires consent must wait for that consent; a link to this policy is not a consent mechanism.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or a portable copy of personal information, and object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk. You do not have to give up that right to raise a concern with the operator.
Send privacy requests to support@vertexfinance-trading.com The legal operator’s postal address must be configured before publication.
Security and policy changes
The current application uses authenticated access and private document storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep account credentials private and report suspected unauthorised access through the support channel.
Changes in services, providers or uses of personal information should be reflected in a dated notice and communicated where required.
